Tomorrow's DIDA Meeting To Begin at 8:00 AM Not Noon

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, April 23, 2008 - The Downtown Ironwood Development Authority (DIDA) will be meeting at 8:00 AM CST tomorrow, Thursday, April 24, 2008. At the last DIDA meeting, the members voted to change the meeting time to make it more accommodating  to downtown businesspeople.

Two new Authority members will be sworn into office tomorrow, Corey Gresham and Steve Frank. The principle focus of tomorrow's meeting will be to establish a direction the Authority will take to revitalize the downtown business district.

The DIDA is financed through a special tax assessed to downtown business property owners. The total yearly budget for the Authority is roughly $11,600. The DIDA will decide what course to take to best utilize these limited funds.
