Owner of Pizza URL Rolling In Dough

NORTH POTOMAC, MD - Saturday, April 04, 2008 - Yesterday,
Bruce Leshan of WUSA-TV in Washington DC reported this incredible
story.
Back in the 1990's a man from North Potomac, Maryland purchased
the URL "Pizza.com" for $20. Now that man,Chris Clark, is looking at a $3
million home delivery.
The web address is currently up for auction, and
bidding has already hit $2.6 million.
Clark, an internet consultant, is
married with three children. He bought "Pizza.com" hoping to land a job with a
big pizza company. He held on to the name although he never got the
job.
He decided he'd see what he could get for "Pizza.com" after watching
other web addresses sell for millions.
He took his family to Disney World
during spring break. They were more interested in watching on his laptop as the
bidding climbed from $100 to $100,000 to millions, than enjoying what the
amusement park had to offer. "Oh my God, dad, look at this!" his children kept
saying.
Clark is expecting several last minute bids, in the auction that is slated to
close at 2 PM. That could extend the auction until as late as 5 PM.
"It's just crazy," says Clark.
