Montreal Levels Have Some Area Residents Concerned | |
|
IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, April 23, 2008 - Rising Montreal water levels, so far, have been causing minor inconveniences for residents on either side of Norrie Park Road. However as the river levels increase, residents of the "Flats" area have got to be biting their nails. Rain and warm temperatures have caused the Montreal to overflow onto the Norrie Park Road just south of the Dupont Bridge, forcing the City to close the street until the waters recede. Temperatures will continue to be near 70 from now through the weekend. Rain is expected to begin again on Thursday, and continue through Sunday. |
