IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, April 8, 2008 - There will be a skatepark meeting at 4:00 PM CDT today at the Women's Club Room on the second floor of the Ironwood Memorial Building. The reason for the meeting is to discuss the proposed City skatepark with those individuals that are interested.

Last summer I was in Eveleth, Minnesota and I took the photos of their skate park included in this article. It was a slightly overcast day with a nice cool breeze and there wasn't a soul using the park. Eveleth officials told me that the park is well used, but the rules are often abused. They told me that they regretted having an unsupervised park and were considering options to change that.
