Hydrant Replacement Schedule

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, August 27, 2008 - According to an August 22, 2008 notice of water interruption sent by City Utilities Director Bob Tervonen and  addressed to the local radio stations and the Daily Globe, the following residents might experience temporary water interruptions:

• Monday August 25 through Wednesday August 27 - Five hydrants will be replaced in the area of the 200 and 300 blocks of South Curry Street, South Mansfield Street, South Marquette Street, and South Suffolk from McLeod Avenue to Vaughn Street. Residents in this area are to be advised that water service may be discolored or disrupted while the hydrants are being replaced.
• Thursday August 28 - Hydrant to be replaced by Jacquart Manufacturing at 1234 Wall Street. Customers in this area should not experience any water service disruption.
• Friday August 29 - Hydrant to be replaced at N10333 Greenbush Street (Armory Building). Customers in this area should not experience any water service disruption.
