Water Break At Greenbush & Jackson Turned Out to Be Big Job

IRONWOOD, TOWNSHIP, MI - Friday, December 19, 2008 - City water crewmen Sam Fontecchio, Rick Alonen and Bill Olkonen braved the cold yesterday to repair a broken water main at the intersection of Greenbush Street and Jackson Road near Gogebic Community College.

Once the break was exposed, the crew realized the break was more serious than they originally thought. Jim Kolesar left his transmission repair work at the shop in order to assist with the water break. Additional equipment had to be brought to the scene as well.
