More Snow and Severe Wind Chill Temps On the Way

MARQUETTE, MI - Monday, December 29, 2008 - According to the National Weather Service in Marquette, MI, more snow and and some severe cold temperatures can be expected in the coming week.

  • Wednesday - Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. Highs around 13. West winds 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph by mid afternoon. Lowest wind chill readings 11 below to 21 below zero in the morning. 
  • New Years Eve - Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows around zero inland to around 7 above at the shore.
  • New Years Day - Snow likely. Highs around 20. Chance of snow 60 percent.
  • Thursday Night - Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow showers. Lows around 9 above.
  • Friday - Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow showers. Highs around 19.
  • Friday Night - Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of snow showers. Lows around 9 above.
  • Saturday through Sunday - Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. Highs around 21. Lows 6 to 11 above.
