Don't Miss the Jack Frost Parade and Other Activities Tonight!

 

IRONWOOD, MI - Friday, December 6, 2008 -  From 9:00 AM to Noon today there will be a live radio broadcasst with Chuck Gervasio, WUPM Radio, at Jack Frost Headquarters (aka Hittīs Fine Furniture). Listen in for all the latest festival and parade information. Tonight, the Jack Frost Festival of Lights Parade, will begin at 6:00 PM. The Parade will be held in Downtown Ironwood, and will be covered Live on Charter Cable with hosts, Chuck Gervasio & Laura Keller. After the parade, be sure to visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus and Jack Frost at Candy Cane Court (River Valley Bank) and receive candy canes. You can also attend the Gogebic Range Band Concert at the Ironwood Memorial Building.

The winning number for the Jack Frost $10,000 Raffle will also be drawn tonight. Tickets cost $100.00, with only 200 sold. If there are any left they are available at the Chamber office, 906/932-1122. The Carnegie Library will hold an open house from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and the Knights of Columbus will hold a Christmas Tree Sale Fundraiser, 330 Scott Street, Ironwood, MI. The Sale will continue until the trees are sold out.
