Jacquart Fabric Products Acquires Stone Legacy

IRONWOOD, MI - Monday, December 22, 2008 - During these unstable economic times, Ironwood's Jacquart Fabric Products is working hard to ensure continued growth and prosperity, most recently illustrated by its acquisition of Stone Legacy, the maker of Tough Protective Cases.
Jacquart Fabric Products has been a fixture in the Ironwood community for 50 years, currently employing more than 150 people. JFP manufactures a wide variety of OEM and private label products, such as pet beds, cat furniture, playground equipment components, institutional, motorcycle and airplane seating, custom upholstery, custom canvas applications and more. Stone Legacy will join Paus and Stormy Kromer in JFP's portfolio of owned brands.
Stone Legacy was founded in 1994 in Spring Valley, Wisconsin. In the years since, Stone Legacy has built a reputation for OEM protective cases that offer innovative design, superior functionality and outstanding durability. Among a wide variety of products, Stone Legacy builds the private label rod and reel cases for some of the fishing industry's biggest players.
Bob Jacquart, owner and President of Jacquart Fabric Products, looks at the acquisition as a natural fit. "Stone Legacy's product line perfectly compliments JFP's talents and abilities." Says Jacquart, "We look forward to improving even more upon the excellent products and service that Stone Legacy has been providing its customers. This really is a win for JFP and for our new and existing customers."
