Dress Warmly If You're Going Outside This Morning

MARQUETTE, MI - Monday, December 22, 2008 - At 6:45 AM the National Weather Service in Marquette, Michigan issued a Wind Chill Advisory that will remain in effect until 10:00 AM CST this morning.

Expect wind chill readings as low as 30 below zero to begin rising late this morning as temperatures climb into the single digits above zero. However... wind chill readings will remain below zero into the afternoon.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
