IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI - Friday, February 29, 2008 - Employees, suppliers, contractors, and vendors at the new Wal-Mart located on Country Club Road in Ironwood Township are working long hours readying the new SuperCenter for their grand opening scheduled for next Friday, March 7, 2008.

"We will be open at 7:30 AM on Friday," Co-Manager Mike Carney told the Chronicle this morning, "We know the community is looking forward to Wal-Mart, and we're looking forward to being part of the community."

The new SuperCenter will feature their usual general merchandise, a food market including fresh produce, meats, and dairy, a Home & Living center, a lawn & garden center, and a pharmacy. The new center is expected to be open 24 hours per day.
