Fresh Fish for Boulder Junction

BOULDER JUNCTION, WI - Saturday, July 05, 2008 - Local artists gave the giant "Propane Musky" portrait a face-lift back on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. The paint was fading and the Boulder Junction landmark was looking a little tired.

The large propane tank can be found on County Highway P as you enter Boulder Junction.

Boulder Junction is widely recognized as the "Musky Capital of the World." Many famous television fisherman regularly visit the small Wisconsin town to enjoy the quality musky fishing Boulder Junction has to offer.

The three skilled artists restoring the musky did a great job, paying very close attention to every detail of the portrait. Boulder Junction will be hosting their 52nd Annual Musky Jamboree on August 08th through August 10th, 2008.
