Give Blood Today -- The Life You Save Could Be Your Own

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, June 04, 2008 - A blood drive will be held from 12:00 Noon through 6:00 PM today at the Ironwood Memorial Building. Craig Harrison of the American Red Cross told WJMS Radio's Sam Erspamer on the Sam in the Morning program that recent blood drive efforts have been quite difficult, and the need for blood is greater than ever.

Harrison told the radio talk show host that Great Lakes Airlines, the Gogebic-Iron County Airport's new air carrier, has generously donated a free trip to Milwaukee that will be given away to one lucky donor. A drawing will be held to see who wins that trip.
