IRONWOOD, MI - Monday, March 31, 2008 - City water crews were called out today to fix a water main break on Lowell Street, just north of Cloverland Drive. The break occurred right next to Mike's Restaurant on Cloverland Drive.

Crews quickly located the problem; dug the hole; and repaired the leak. North Lowell Street has been blocked off from Cloverland to Midland, and will remain so until after the road has been properly patched. When these photos were shot, the Crew was on their noon lunchbreak. On the scene were the backhoe; the jackhammer; and the vactor truck.

Bob Tervonen cautions neighbors along North Lowell from Cloverland to Southland that water may be a bit discolored and pressure may be a bit eratic because debris may still be in the line as a result of break.
