IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, March 05, 2008 - Daydream Donuts on US-2 is not yet open, but, according to a recorded message on their answering maching, the opening date will soon be displayed on their marquee.

The idea for the new donut and coffee shop was first presented to the City by Dr. Jeff Edwards on May 22, 2006. Edwards applied for a variance from the City to allow the shop to open on US-2. The shop will feature 50 cent donuts and $1/cup coffee, milk or orange juice. Donuts can be classic plain; chocolate glaze; vanilla glaze; original glaze; sugar & spice; chocolate & sprinkles; or vanilla & sprinkles. They will also be sold by the half-dozen ($3.00) or by the dozen ($5.00). They will be open from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM CST. (All prices include tax!)
