Golf Club Assailant Turns Himself In to Authorities

WAKEFIELD, MI - Thursday, March 20, 2008 - Back on November 19, 2007, Michigan State Police (MSP) were dispatched to a Wakefield residence on an assault complaint. MSP Troopers were told by a male victim at the scene that he had been repeatedly beaten with a golf club. He was immediately transported to the Grand View Hospital where he was treated and released.

After a complete investigation by the MSP a felony assault warrant was issued for the suspect. The 26-year-old man accused of the crime turned himself in, at the MSP Wakefield Post today. The suspect posted bond and an arraignment has be set for April 07, 2008 at the 98th District Court in Bessemer.
