City Takes Proactive Role In Controlling Pet Waste

IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, May 13, 2008 - At last night's City Commission meeting, DIDA member Steve Frank asked the Commission who was responsible for placing a new Pet Waste Station at Norrie Park.

City Manager Scott Erickson told Frank that the Parks & Recreation Committee voted to erect the station, and that Neil Corcoran, who is in charge of the City's parks, did the work.

Frank complimented the efforts and also praised those that have continued to plow the trails at Norrie Park throughout the winter.
