14th Annual Jack Frost Calendar of Events 2008 Released
IRONWOOD, MI - Thursday, November 13, 2008 - The Ironwood Area Chamber of Commerce released the calendar of events for the 14th Annual Jack Frost Festival yesterday. The following events are planned for this year's Festival: Note: Events, dates, times and location may change after publication; call the numbers listed to avoid disappointment. November-December 5 — Jack Frost $10,000 Raffle ticket sales, ($100.00 - only 200 sold) available at the Chamber office, 906/932-1122 November-December 5 — Ironwood Area Business & Professional Women’s Club 50/50 Raffle ticket sales ($1.00). Available at Guardian Title , Joki, Makela & Pollack Accounting, Chief Oil or from any IABPW member. Drawing held after the Jack Frost parade at Chief Oil, Aurora Street, Ironwood November-December 19 — Storybook collection (new books only please). Drop off sites: Ironwood Chamber, Hitt’s Fine Furniture, River Valley Bank and Ironwood Memorial Building. Books will benefit local organizations that work with children November-December — WIMI/WJMS Radio is sponsoring a business Christmas window decorating contest. Entry forms are due 11/26/08, judging by the public between 11/28-12/5. Permits available at the Ironwood Chamber office ($25).
