Water Break On Ayer Street Creates Potentially Dangerous Situation

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - What appears to be a major water leak near the intersection of Ayer Street and Country Club Road was discovered at 6:15 this evening by Chronicle photographer Steve Frank. Frank called Negaunee Dispatch to report the leak.

The Chronicle recommended that travelers to Wal-Mart use US-2 until the leak can be repaired. The leak has caused an icy, dangerous condition at the intersection.
