City Crews Were Busy Today Fixing Water Line Breaks

IRONWOOD, MI - Thursday, November 20, 2008 - Being careful not to disturb City crews while they repaired the break at the Ayer Street/Country Club Road intersection, our photographer found time during a lunch break to take these pictures. The leak was already repaired at noon, and the holes were all filled in after lunch. Another major break occurred in the Jessieville area as well. Once again our City crews were on the scene making the necessary repairs. The City's antiquated water lines and the sudden overnight cold snap contributed to the breaks.
