Team Gogebic Receives Birkie Grant

IRONWOOD, MI - Sunday, November 30, 2008 - The American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation has awarded the Team Gogebic Nordic Ski Club a skier development grant in the amount of $1,000.  The funds are for the purchase of loaner ski equipment to expand their Youth Skier Program. Team Gogebic is a local club whose mission is to promote the sport of cross country skiing and to develop any young athletes wishing to compete.
