A Special Thanks to All Who Attended the "All-Board Meeting"

I would like to take this opportunity to publically thank the organizations and individuals that took time to participate in the recent "All-Board Meeting" at the Ironwood Memorial/Municipal Building. Recognizing that this meeting was a beginning point and not an end itself, there were many common challenges and opportunities that were identified. This appreciation is also extended to the county and regional entities that joined in our discussion. While their aim may encompass a larger geographic area than the City of Ironwood, they are an important part of our community and important players in all of the communities that they serve.

I look forward to the collaborative efforts that will ensue from this meeting. Further, I look forward to working with surrounding and regional jurisdictions and organizations in order to maximize resources. In a time when it is increasingly challenging to manage businesses, government, and even family matters, all organizations must make the most of the internal and external resources.

As always, the City looks forward to receiving the input of the community members through their presence at one of the many meetings or public input sessions of city boards and commissions; or by contacting the appropriate city staff person by letter, phone, email, or personally. Thanks to all of those who are willing to take part in making Ironwood a great place to live and play.

Best Regards,

Dan Petersen
