Blight Committee to Meet Again Tonight

IRONWOOD, MI - Monday, September 15, 2008 - Another meeting of the Ironwood Blight Committee will be held tonight at 5:30 PM in the Women's Club Room on the second floor of the Ironwood Memorial Building. According to the City's Charter, standing committees are not allowed in the City of Ironwood, therefore, the Blight Committee was correctly identified by City Attorney A. Dennis Cossi, at the last City Commission meeting, as an "ad hoc" committee of the Ironwood Planning Commission. The Committee is expected to continue with their examination of the City's ongoing blight problems.
