Hit & Run Accident Suspect Quickly Determined by IPSD

IRONWOOD, MI - Friday, September 26, 2008 - The Ironwood Public Safety Department (IPSD) responded to a 7:00 AM report of a hit and run this morning. The accident apparently happened at about 10:00 PM last night. An Oak Street resident's automobile was hit; moderately damanged; and pushed approximately fifteen feet from where it was parked. Upon investigation, IPSD Detective Rod Pasuello determined that the suspect was already in custody. He was arrested last night for drunk driving. Parts of the suspect's blue-gray Ford were found at the accident site.
