Former Pamida Building to House Weekly Flea Market

IRONWOOD, MI - Thursday, August 06, 2009 - Beginning next Friday, August 14, 2009, the former Pamida Discount Building, Aurora Street, in downtown Ironwood, will be the home of "Fleamasters" -- the Northwood's largest indoor-outdoor flea market. The market will be open every Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

The weekly flee market will feature local vendors selling unique goods such as leaded glass creations; hand-crafted leather goods; delicious homemade treats; Indian and handcrafted jewelry; fresh local produce; creative woodworks and signs; homemade jams and jellies and much, much more!

The former Pamida Discount Building is located in Historic Downtown Ironwood, Michigan's Western Gateway to the Upper Peninsula. Come and enjoy a relaxing day of bargain-hunting and sightseeing! See the "World's Tallest Indian" statue of Hiawatha. Soak up the distinct culture of a former mining town. Kick back, relax, and enjoy our quaint little town!

There is over 23,000 square feet of indoor vendor space at the market, and a large amount of outdoor space as well. There is free parking in the lot by the building. Refreshments will be available, and there are public restrooms on the premises.

The market can handle over 100 12'x12' vendor booths. Many have already been taken, but during the first week, there are booths available at a cost of only $5.00. In the weeks to follow, vendor booths will cost $10.00. For more information contact Dave Martin at (906) 932-1740.
