Work Continues on the Norrie/Poplar Street Bridge

IRONWOOD, MI - Monday, August 31, 2009 - Work continues on the Norrie Street bridge over the Montreal River between Ironwood and Hurley. A barrier wall encased in plastic along with plastic sheeting covering the ground help protect the river by stopping construction sediment, debris, and erosion from entering the river. The contaminates are pumped,  and removed from site.
