Duggan Takes Over Ownership of Knight Club Pool Hall
IRONWOOD, MI - by Keri Singleton - Wednesday, December 9, 2009 - The Knight Club Pool Hall, downtown Ironwood, Michigan, welcomes Dave Duggan on board, as it’s new operator. Dave recently located to the great Northwoods from Platteville, Wisconsin, where he owned and operated a restaurant for the last seven years. He told me that operating the pool hall is perfect for him, as he has been playing pool for most of his life, and he offers free lessons to anyone interested, at the Knight Club. Dave said he wants everyone to know they are open every night from 6:00 PM to midnight, and he plans to expand those hours on weekends from noon to midnight daily within two weeks. There are also plans to remain open all year, with possible reduced hours in the summer. The Knight Club sells pizza, burgers, fries, chicken tenders, and chicken wings, for the hungry player, and offers a friendly, safe, smoke and alcohol free atmosphere. Dave and the staff at The Knight Club encourage you to come down, shoot some pool, socialize, even have lessons, and enjoy yourself. The Knight Club is operated by Dave Duggan and managed by Steve Frank. The pool hall was previously owned and operated as the Knight Club Billiards & Arcade by Jim Albert (1978-2008) and as Subway Recreation by Sam Khoury (1950-1974). |
