Ironwood Clarinet Choir to Hold Fundraiser Pool Tourney Saturday

IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, December 1, 2009 - The Knight Club Pool Hall will be hosting a fundraising pool tournament on Saturday, December 5th, 2009, beginning at 6:00 PM. Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Ironwood High School Clarinet Choir to help pay travel expenses for the Choir to Chicago in January. The tournament will be a doubles eight-ball tournament, double elimination, BCA Rules (ball in hand on all fouls). The entry fee to compete is $20 per team payable at the door. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams. Please sign up for Saturday's tournament and help out this worthy cause. With the current economy and with the heavy school budget cuts, the only money groups like this have available to them is through fundraising events. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Ironwood High School Clarinet Choir.
