Organizers Gear Up for Sisu Ski Fest Event

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, December 30, 2009 - Just a reminder that the SISU Ski Fest Race organizers are still looking for volunteers. Contact Rita Franzoi, Volunteer Coordinator at (715) 360-9352.

Karen Gullan, Ironwood City Clerk, is looking for volunteers to help with the Aid Station located near the Ironwood City garage on Saturday, January from 9:00 AM -5:00 PM, two or three hour time slots. Call her at (906) 932-5050 for more information.

Morgan Grasso, Indianhead Motel,  is in charge of registration. To register call Moran at (906) 932-2031

Not sure who is in charge of the race packets but if you are interested in including coupons (or other "stuff") in the race packets call Pam Kauppila, Race Director at (906) 361-5111 or drop them off at the Ironwood Memorial Building.

The Ironwood Chamber will have an information booth on Friday, January 8th, at the Ironwood Memorial Building from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. If anyone is interested in volunteering to sit at the booth on Saturday, January 9th from Noon - 5:00 PM please let me know. If you have materials (brochures, business cards, coupons, etc.) that you want me to hand out on Friday, please drop them off at the Chamber office between January 4th and January 8th. OR... drop them off at the Ironwood Memorial Building and let them know its for the Chamber booth.
