Property Owners Get Chance to Challenge Reappraisals

IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, February 10, 2009 - The City's consultant, Accurate Appraisals, is holding an open book:

• Today from 1:00 PM to 4:00 and again from 5:15PM to 8:00 PM.
• Tomorrow from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and again from 3:45 PM to 7:00 PM.
• And Thursday from  8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:15 PM to 2:45 PM.

The open books are being held at the Memorial Building and will be an opportunity for residents to review their reappraisal information with the consultant and City staff. Appointments are recommended and can be made online by emailing info@accurateassessor.com. You can also call (800) 770-3927 or contact Dennis Hewitt at (906) 932-5050. You will need the following information to schedule your appointment:

• Your name
• Your property's parcel number
• Your property's address
• Your phone number
• The date and time that you will be available

The entire scheduling process should take between five and fifteen minutes.
