Calumet Theatre's Traveling to the Future Annual Fundraiser

CALUMET, MI - Wednesday, February 25, 2009 - The Calumet Theatre will be Traveling to the Future on March 21, 2009 during their annual fundraiser and silent auction. This business style, over 21, event will take place in the Theatre’s Red Jacket Ballroom to commemorate the Theatre’s opening night. The event sends guests traveling from past into the future, highlighting the journey, memories, and goals for our historic treasure.

Tickets are $60 per person with discounts available for groups of eight. Price includes hors d’oeuvres, beverages, a buffet style dinner catered by The Miscowaubik Club of Calumet, presentations, featured photography by Joe Kirkish, live musical entertainment by Mz Behavin’ with The Swing Cats, a silent auction, door prizes, and much more! Social hour begins at 6:00pm, where you can meet and greet like-minded Theatre supporters!

Highlighted auction items include a Baldwin Theater Organ, George Foreman Grill, Joe Kirkish original prints, one night stays at the Centennial Cottages and the Dapple-Gray Bed and Breakfast, Vehicle detail from Advance-TEC Body Repair, saving bonds, massages, Theatre paraphernalia, and much more.

All proceeds benefit the Capital Improvement Fund to help enhance the Theatre experience.
