Quick Response Minimizes Fire Damage on Leonard

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, February 18, 2009 - Fire caused extensive damage to a sauna outbuilding at 1120 East Leonard Street yesterday evening. The intense heat melted vinyl siding on the nearby garage. The Ironwood Public Safety Department (IPSD) and the Ironwood Volunteer Fire Department (IVFD) quickly responded to the call, keeping damages to a minimum. No one was injured in the fire.
