Warm Conditions & Rain Are Causing Problems In the City

IRONWOOD, MI - February 11, 2009 - The pictures featured in the slideshow above are from Dave Martin's yard and they show the effects after all the rain we received.

"I'm hoping with the new Phase I of the city plans of the water lines and rebuilding the roads this culvert on the corner of Brogan Street and Smith Street will also be looked into. I know this isn't the only one that is causing problems in the city but as you can see the water is about to cross the road." Martin said.

"I grew up in this neighborhood and as long as I can remember this corner has always been a problem. It sure would save a lot of tax payers money if we fix problems like this the first time around." Martin continued, "Last year I had water right up to the foundation of my house."
