Hurley Supermarket In Transition

HURLEY, WI - Wednesday, January 28, 2009 - Today was transition day at the former Copp's Food Center, as it officially became a Super One Foods store.

On December 17, 2008, Roundy’s Supermarkets, Incorporated and Miner’s Incorporated, doing business as Super One Foods, announced that the two companies reached an agreement on the sale and purchase of store.

“The Hurley store has real synergies with our store operations in neighboring Michigan. We are looking forward to Super One Foods becoming part of the local business community in Hurley,” said Jim Miner, Jr., Vice President of Miner’s Incorporated.

Miner’s Incorporated, a family owned business started in Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1957, is based in Duluth, Minnesota. The Company’s first Super One Foods store began operations in 1985.
