IPC to Meet at 5:30 PM, Wednesday, January 07, 2009

IRONWOOD, Friday, January 02, 2009 - The Regular Meeting of the Ironwood Planning Commission will be held on Wednesday, January 07, 2009, beginning at 5:30 P.M. The meeting will be conducted in the Community Development Conference Room on the 2nd Floor of the Municipal Memorial Building, Ironwood, Michigan.

The first order of business for the Commission will be to consider approval of the December 3, 2008 Public Hearing/Regular Meeting Minutes.

They also are scheduled to:

• Discuss and consider setting a public hearing for Sexually-oriented business Article of updated Zoning Ordinance.
• Hear Project Updates from Community Development Director Dan Petersen.
• Be brought up-to-date on the Planning Commission (Enabling Act) ordinance.
• Discuss and consider postponing election of officers/bylaw approval until a full Planning Commission has been appointed.

As always, the meetings are open to the public and the City of Ironwood encourages Citizens to voice their opinions, ideas and concerns.
