IP&RC to Hear Trails Report Monday

IRONWOOD, MI - Saturday, January 31, 2009 - The Ironwood Parks & Recreation Committee (IP&RC) will be holding its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, February 2, 2009, in the City Commission Chambers on the second floor of the Ironwood Memorial/Municipal Building. The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM.

A special presentation from the parks and recreation trails subcommittee regarding the City's trail plan will take place at the meeting. Following the presentation the Committee will discuss and consider action on proposed trail plan. The Committee is also expected to examine and consider available grant opportunities that can help to fund the trail system.

The last item on the Monday night's agenda for the IP&RC is to discuss the Committee's bylaws and mission statement.
