Most City Residents Have Water

IRONWOOD, MI - Sunday, January 11, 2009 - 10:28 AM - The water situation in Ironwood is improving this morning. Crews have been out all night and and this morning. Most City residents have water, hydrants are being flushed and the Jessieville area situation is improving. Water is expected to be restored to the Jessieville area as soon as possible.

Again, residents who many be in need of drinking water may come or call the Emergency Operations Center at the Ironwood Public Safety Department (906-932-1234). It will be open this afternoon until 3:00 PM, or longer if conditions change.
