Wind Chill Readings of -15° to -30° All Morning

MARQUETTE, MI - Monday, January 26, 2009 - A Wind Chill Advisory is now in effect until 11:00 AM CST today. Look for wind chill readings of 15 below to 30 below zero to persist through much of this morning then rise this afternoon as temperatures climb into the single digits and teens above zero.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors dress in layers and make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
