Area Loses Its Last New Vehicle Dealership

HURLEY, WI - Sunday, July 19, 2009 - Hurley Honda/Toyota Motor Sports, seller of quality new and pre-owned Hondas, Toyotas and ATVs, motorcycles and snowmobiles, has ceased operation on Highway 51 in Hurley as of yesterday, Saturday,  July 18th, 2009. A for sale sign sits in front of former auto/recreational vehicle dealership. The business will be reopening in Ashland, Wisconsin as Ashland Toyota.

Bessemer Auto discontinued sales of new vehicles last year. Lahti's received notice from GM they will lose their dealership later this year. With the closing of Hurley Honda/Toyota Motor Sports in Hurley, the Gogebic Range no longer has a new vehicle dealership.
