Winter Weather Advisory In Effect Until 9:00 PM Tuesday

MARQUETTE, MI - Monday, March 30, 2009 - According to the National Weather Service in Marquette, Michigan, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7:00 AM Central Daylight Time to 9:00 PM Tuesday.

Snow will develop Tuesday morning and continue into Tuesday evening. The snow may mix with rain in the afternoon and evening especially near Lake Superior. Look for total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with the greatest amounts in the higher terrain from Ironwood and Wakefield to Bergland and Rockland.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
