Fire at 814 East Leonard Street Quickly Attended to by Local Firefighters

IRONWOOD, MI - Friday, March 6, 2009 - A structure fire at 814 East Leonard Street in Ironwood left the vacant home with considerable smoke and fire damages. Ironwood Public Safety Department officers; the Ironwood Volunteer Fire Department firefighters; personnel from the Gogebic County Sheriff's Department; Beacon Ambulance and the Red Cross were on hand. Firefighters were extremely quick to respond and were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
