Polar Bear Girls Fight Hard In Losing Effort to Marquette

Saturday, March 7, 2009 - According to a report received by the Chronicle this morning, the Girls U-19 Polar Bear Hockey team played hard but penalties took them out of the game. According to the information we received, they played with only 14 of the usual 16 players. The scoreboard showed after 3 periods that the Polar Bears lost to Marquette 8-1.
