MDNR GRANT APPLICATIONS (01:50) The Committee immediately went to work discussing three grant applications to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Natural Resources Trust Fund and Land and Water Conservation. Dan Petersen explained to the Committee that he has been working to put the grant application together for the three MDNR projects the Committee previously decided to be priorities. He said the grant deadline is April 1st, and he wanted to discuss things that needed to be done in order to be eligible for the grant. According to Petersen, letters of support needed to be gathered for each and every project and promises of donations and other ways to meet matches for the grants would also be helpful. Petersen said that a 25% match is required from the DNR. Complete Story to Follow |
