GO-IN Forward Plans Casino Night to Benefit Relay for Life

HURLEY, WI - Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - The Go-In Forward group is organizing a team of walkers for the Relay for Life on June 12-13 at the Gogebic Community College. They are fundraising for the event and recruiting walkers and volunteers to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

To increase fundraising, the Go-In Forward group is planning a Casino Night on May 30th at Dawn's Never Inn from 8:00 PM  until midnight. The night will include appetizers and a DJ as well as blackjack games for people to play. They would like to increase awareness of the Go-In Forward group and the other Next Generation groups. But their main focus for this event is to fundraise for the Relay for Life.

They are pulling together a team of walkers to fill the full 24 hours (30 minute time slots). They will also be doing on-site fundraising and will need volunteers to support the team.

Kelly is also selling feet and luminaries at her office at 327 Silver Street in Hurley (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
