Autumn Spawning Run Begins

SAXON HARBOR, WI - Saturday, October 17, 2009 - Brown Trout are starting to move into area streams for their annual fall spawning run. A unidentified fisherman caught the 28 inch, approximately 8 pound Brown Trout on a 4 and 1/2' ultra light pole and reel with a 1# test dia super braided line. Notice the "Kype" (hooked jaw) on the Brown. When the males spawn their colors, behavior, and anatomy change.
