City's First Fall Clean-Up Today!

IRONWOOD, MI - Saturday, October 03, 2009 - For several years the City of Ironwood has held a spring clean-up day. This year, for the first time, the City will by attempting a fall version of the annual spring event. Beginning this morning, Saturday, October 03, 2009, at 8:00 AM, volunteers will be assisting Ironwood residents in ridding them with unwanted household debris. The clean-up is being held on the City-owned lot across from the Northwoods Auto car lot on Ayer Street. If you have things you need to get rid of -- free of charge -- this is the time to do it! The clean-up will end at noon, so get there early to avoid the long lines of traffic.
