Jack Frost Festival Committee to Hold Meeting: Seeks New Members

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, October 14, 2009 - There will be a Jack Frost Committee Meeting at noon on Friday, October 16, 2009, at Manny’s, 316 East Houk Street (across from the Hiawatha statue), in Ironwood.

Agenda items for Friday's meeting include: (1) 15th Annual Jack Frost Parade - December 4, 2009, 6 PM;  (2) Parade Theme - Jack Frost’s Crystal Anniversary; (3) Grand Parade Marshals- Gogebic Range Trail Authority; (4) Candy Cane Court - River Valley Bank; (5) Jack Frost Headquarters - Hitt’s Fine Furniture; (6) Tree Lighting Ceremony - Pocket Park, November 20, 4 PM;  (7) Jack Frost $10,000 Raffle; (8) Jack Frost Sweatshirts; (9) Charter Communications; (10) Gingerbread House Contest; (11) WIMI Store Window Decorating Contest; (12) Xmas Card Project; (13) Storybook Collection; (14) Daily Globe Jack Frost insert; and (15) Other.

The Committee is seeking new members to help plan and organize new events. Everybody is welcome.
