If You Burn Wood Attend the Chimney Fire Suppression Class

WAKEFIELD, MI - Sunday, September 06, 2009 - Wakefield Fire Department along with Gogebic County Firefighters' Training Council, is hosting a Chimney Fire Suppression Class on Wednesday, September 9th, at 6:30 PM Wakefield Fire Hall, just South on Sunday Lake Street.

The instructor, Fred Chamberlain of Ontonagon, has many years of experience and does an exceptional job for firefighters as well as ANYONE WHO BURNS WOOD.

In these tough economic times many more families are burning wood, and Fred will tell the dos and don'ts, with specific explanations.

"I attended the seminar myself last year and learned vast amounts of information." said Mike Yon, Wakefield Volunteer Fire Department Chief.

"We encourage all to attend, light refreshments will be offered, and this is a FREE seminar." said Gogebic County Firefighters' Training Council Chief, Ted Finco.
