Work Continues On Lake Road North of Slade

IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI - Monday, September 21, 2009 - Construction north of Slade Road continues as Snow Country Contracting moves forward installing new water main for the Gogebic Range Water Authority (GRWA) to supply Ironwood Township. Last week the contractor discovered that the City of Ironwood's 16" water main was in poor condition. The GRWA offered to replace the main if the City signed an agreement that allowed for the GRWA to be reimbursed at a later time.
