Grand View Offers Lunch 'n Learn on Depression
IRONWOOD, MI - Saturday, April 10, 2010 - Join Terry Steege, WHNP and Patrick Triggiano, Psychologist at the Grand View Clinic - Ironwood for an important discussion on depression Wednesday, April 21 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 PM in the Grand View Hospital conference room area. Major depression can interfere with the ability to work, sleep, and eat and enjoy once pleasurable activities. It is an illness that affects both mind and body can occur at any age. When a depressed mood persists for one or more months, and interferes with everyday living, it is likely a sign of serious depression that requires treatment. We will discuss symptoms of depression and how to treat it. Presenters will also talk about medications available, counseling options and what resources are available if you suspect a loved one is depressed and how you can help. This program is part of the Living Well Series and is Grand View’s opportunity to share our resources and expertise to help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
